Carol Bateyâ€TMs Love Vibrations
Carol S. Batey loves to make people feel better—whether through food, skincare or herbal tinctures. She calls her line of handmade products Carolâ€TMs Vibrations. Years ago, Carol discovered the healing power of herbs after dealing with a medical issue, but real healing didnâ€TMt happen until she unearthed—pun intended—the fact that herbal methods could heal and support her body naturally.
Today she and her husband, John Prunty, grow more than 60 herbs in their backyard “farmacy” and use them to create herbal salves, plant medicines, fermented foods and skincare products. You can find her skincare products at Nashvilleâ€TMs Turnip Truck and Urban Fare, as well as via Etsy and her own website.
A few years ago, when the growing of hemp became legal in Tennessee, Carol started experimenting with adding hemp and hemp oil to some of her products. Her hemp is sourced from Springfield, Tennessee farmer William Corbin.
Carol has become a true believer. “I love the fact that when I add hemp butter to my skincare products, itâ€TMs effective in assisting inflammation,” she says. “When used topically, it also adds omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9, and a wonderful vibration to your skin.”
Not only does she love to improve peopleâ€TMs health, she also loves teaching others how to grow and make basic herbal medicine.
Itâ€TMs a love thing!
